Il progetto riguarda la costruzione di un co housing e il confronto con altri  7 paesi europei : MDAT (Grecia), Odisee University (Belgio), Caracol Association (Francia), Cooperativa sociale ATYPICA arl (Italia), Consorcio Andaluz de Impulso Social (CAIS) (Spagna), Community Land Trust Bruxelles (Belgio), and Associacao Animam Viventem (Portogallo) per favorire  l’inclusione sociale di persone fragili  nonché contribuire alla creazione di ambienti inclusivi che promuovano l’equità, l’uguaglianza e la resilienza delle comunità. Il Progetto è iniziato a Novembre 2023 e durerà 30 mesi.

Gli obiettivi specifici sono 3:

1.la promozione e la diffusione di iniziative di cohousing nell’UE, co-progettate e gestite dai cohouser, come strumento modo proattivo e inclusivo per aumentare la resilienza personale e collettiva delle società dell’UE, evitando l’esclusione sociale.

2.lo sviluppo di centri bottom-up denominati “Community Hub”, quali nuclei generativi gestiti da cohouser e cittadini in collaborazione con gli stakeholder locali (cittadini, istituzioni, attori del terzo settore e imprese), per promuovere l’innovazione sociale e la costruzione di comunità.

3.accrescere le competenze degli operatori sociali attivi nelle organizzazioni specializzate del terzo settore che operano sul campo, in supportare i cohouser nel diventare leader di comunità in grado di progettare e gestire “Community Hub”, che fungeranno da punto di riferimento per l’innovazione sociale  e piattaforma di apprendimento permanente per la comunità locale e gli stakeholder.

The project concerns the construction of a cohousing in Padova, Italy by Cooperatiova FAI Padova as the leading partner and comparison of strategies and good practices in cohousing with other 7 European organizations: MDAT (Greece), Odisee University (Belgium), Caracol Association (France), Cooperativa sociale ATYPICA arl (Italy), Consorcio Andaluz de Impulso Social (CAIS)(Spain), Community Land Trust Bruxelles (Belgium), and Associacao Animam Viventem (Portugal). Starting from November 2023, the project lasts 30 months to foster the social inclusion of vulnerable people and to contribute to the creation of inclusive environments that promote equity, equality and resilience of communities.

The specific objectives of the project are :

1.The promotion and dissemination of EU cohousing initiatives, co-designed and managed by cohousers, as a tool in a proactive and inclusive way to increase the personal and collective resilience of EU societies, avoiding social exclusion.

2.The development of bottom-up centers called “Community Hub” as generative nuclei managed by cohouser and citizens in collaboration with local stakeholders (citizens, institutions, third sector actors and businesses), to promote social innovation and community building.

3.To increase the skills of social workers active in specialized third sector organizations operating in the field, to support cohousers in becoming community leaders able to design and manage “Community Hub”, which will serve as a reference point for social innovation and a lifelong learning platform for the local community and stakeholders.
